This Cookie Notice explains how The Date Atelier uses cookies and similar storage and access technologies on our online store. Our store is powered by Shopify. This notice should be read together with our Privacy notice.
What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies can include local storage, pixels, tags and scripts. They can be used to operate a website, remember choices, understand how a website is used, and support marketing.
How we use them
We group storage and access technologies into four categories:
- Essential. Required for the store to function securely, including cart, checkout, security, authentication and remembering your privacy choices. These cannot be switched off through our cookie controls.
- Experience. Used to remember choices that personalise or adapt your experience.
- Analytics. Used to understand how the store is used and to improve its performance and experience.
- Marketing. Used to measure marketing and, where enabled, support relevant advertising.
For visitors in regions where consent is required, optional technologies are not enabled through Shopify's consent framework unless the relevant permission has been given. You can accept all, reject all, or choose categories individually in our cookie controls.
Shopify technologies used on the store
Shopify publishes the following technologies for merchant storefronts. Not every technology will necessarily be present on every visit; use can depend on the feature being used and the visitor's choices.

Third parties
Shopify provides the commerce platform and may store or access information on your device as described above. Shopify's current cookie information is available in its Cookie Policy.
We have not identified separate advertising or analytics scripts added directly to the live storefront theme at the date of this notice. If we introduce an additional service that uses optional storage or access technologies, we will update this notice and apply the appropriate consent controls.
Changing your choices
You can change or withdraw your choices at any time using Cookie preferences. Rejecting an optional category stops future use of that category through Shopify's consent framework. You can also delete or block cookies using your browser settings, although doing so may affect some store functions.
Updates to this notice
We review our use of storage and access technologies periodically and will update this notice when our practices or the services we use change.
